I did not have any alcohol until I met my roommate at 19 who was a total alcoholic and had a fake ID, and eventually with another friend over I took some shots and got drunk with them which was fun. Several times before that i had declined any because i said i preferred sobriety, which might be true, but i think mostly it's because I have had it drilled in my head by my parents and upbringing that alcohol is bad and only degenerates drink it and get drunk, and its irresponsible to do in college.
I also went to study abroad in Europe where they have beer or wine for like every meal (depending on if you're in a Germanic or Romance country [Slavs just drink liqour]). It is nice with a meal. I never partied or got drunk with friends. IDK, i'm just a socially anxious guy, and introverted like most soyim.
The second time i got drunk, it was Valentines Day, and I had decided to get a room to myself, and after going to dinner alone, i just had a bunch of vodka and listened to vtubers whisper sweet things in my ears until i fell asleep and woke up the next morning still in my day clothes with my mouth tasting like crap. IDK, i wanted to give myself the true cinematic Loser(TM) experience.
Since I got back my Mom has actually started offering me wine for dinner most nights too, since I am an adult, i guess, and i have experience.
I will turn 21 in six weeks and aside from maybe getting something for my birthday with my family, I don't know if I will regularly drink alcohol. At least while I am in school. If I end up living alone and need to escape the pain of a lonely weekend, then I might abuse it. But I don't graduate for another two years.

I never drink alone doe. I feel like if i started i would struggle to stop, and its very loserish to do so. Drowning your whole life away doesnt sound like a good idea to me.
If you understand how it works theres tricks to not feel like shit. While drinking, if you have a glass of water between every couple drinks you can make it take longer to get drunk. Ive only gotten pretty drunk once, doe it was pretty gemmy since i got a brownie with ice cream and i genuinely couldnt tell the difference in temperature between them, it was just sugary bliss. Then when you get home, try to stay awake a bit until you feel the alcohol wears off, and drink a solid jug of water. You probably will feel a bit tired when you wake up but you wont be very hangover.
Im 18 so i havent had too much experience with it. Im waiting to be invited to some uni parties so i can get absolutely shitfaced, i feel like theres a time and a place to do things like that and its uni. I cant imagine going to a house party or something and getting drunk there as a working adult after graduation.

I enjoy drinking, but I don't do it that much, even if I started drinking as a caca (quitr common from Central/Eastern EU (from Hungary))
I only really drink on special occasions, like a wedding, family and other social events, weddings, etc. I'm not really sociable but events are fun for good drinks, ig. My favourite drinks are local spirits like pálinka (pear & plum), and I also like choccy liqour.
I don't like beer other than cherry beer, I think it's really overrated.
