Im racist, but still feel a bit bad for it, mostly because he was like 50. I feel more empathy for older people.
(I wasnt at fault for the crash though)

Dont feel bad OP. You didnt ram into them intentionally, theyre at fault. It could have been anyone else instead of you on the road, but it would have always been them being hit, because they weren't driving properly. Dont blame yourself.
