Well my dad has been abusive to me and my mom for decades so i decided to get rid of my disability money and that got him to be more abusive to us and now we are struggling and both of them are unwilling to go to their families for help.
Not helping is people online being such jerks that things i used to love doesn't bring me any joy any more.
My request and the advice i need is how to make money and get away fast and what should i do with my life and my future now that my dreams are crushed.

Find a homeless shelter and get a simple job, like a cashier or waiter. Over time you can save up that money and move to an apartment. I don't know who controls your finances though, so your mileage may vary.
How was the disability money split? You could theoretically get all of it and never give it to anyone else

Also one good venture might be going to a job centre or anything similar that might exist in your country. They can give you advice that matches your needs/abilities and the availabilities in your area. Also they are generally well connected with other agencies so they can probably link you up with social housing, etc.

I can't abandon my mom and family dog to be alone with my dad, he has become more unpredictable and less apologetic.
But i am looking into working with metal, cleaning up scrap metal around town. Is that good?

It's complicated, i'll say that much.

Looking into it.
Thanks for the advice.

My best advice is to call the cops or anyone similar. If you do this, get recordings of your situation at home beforehand and show them to law enforcement. There are cases where victims of abuse lie to the cops due to fearing the consequences. If you get evidence, then that's a guaranteed trip to the slammer for your dad and guaranteed safety for the rest of the family. This is a serious situation that needs to end FAST. I don't know what country you're in, but any country in the west will take swift action and help you.

Anything that gets you money and away from your domestic situation is better than nothing. Is it a fulltime job or freelance work? That changes it quite a bit.
>It's complicated, i'll say that much.
Right. I won't budge you about it too much, since this is not strictly a financial problem.

you will never make it lmao

I assume that OP's dad has a mighty grip over the finances, so maybe it's not as black and white as it seems

Noted. Thank you.

Freelance.

Appreciated.

I forgot to mention that the best recording method is to hide recording devices around the house. If your dad is really loud, then you could theoretically just use your phone behind closed doors, but if your dad finds out he'd be way more suspicious of you and he could possibly target you more.
This is what I would recommend for you, but it's up to you to decide, since I do not know the full extent of your domestic situation. I can only wish safety for your family.
>Freelance.
While it is a good start, it is a bit risky. For starters you could get booted off without a notice and you could not get as much money as promised in the contract.
I would normally advise you to find a full-time job, but considering your situation, you should keep everything as-is. Finding a job is hard nowadays and leaving what you have now is not worth it in the slightest.
>Appreciated.
You're welcome. Again, I wish the best for your family. May this issue get resolved quickly.

So i reached out to my grandma and uncle on my mother's side about the money issues.
I did this behind her back because she's too proud to ask for help.
I have her phone and now her brother is trying to contact her.
What do i tell my mom?
