>>101637you get: the star, queen of pentacles, the world, five of swords
this one was kind of hard for me to understand, but i figured it out.
<the star represents your aspiration to travel, and when paired with the queen of pentacles (this card symbolizes nurturing material things, such as getting educated to get a job to get money) after it i dont see these two things fighting each other, although it would suggest one being more important than the other (majors > minors, naturally).
<the difficulty of this read comes from the last two cards. the world is a natural, divine ending to things (somewhat like death, but more intense. like the ending of a day/month compared to the ending of a year). im curious as to what exactly is ending.
<i did a clarification and i got this: five of wands, six of swords, six of coins, temperance, king of swords, page of swords, eight of wands, king of swords, death, page of cups
do you see what i mean by "intense"?
<i decided to break this reading into two parts. two "sentences", i suppose. we will start with the first four cards.
<so, these cards suggest conflict of ambitions, and a need for you to take your mental landscape and escape the fog of war. the six of coins is a card of proper allocation and balance, and the temperance card elevates this card to a major, divine importance. it is very needful for you to learn to balance these things (personal ambition with material comfort).
<doing so will make you the victor of the conflict in the five of wands, crowning you the king of wands. the king of wands is adept at melding his mind with his motivation, and channeling that sudden burst of energy properly and feeding it by way of mentation. the page of swords, however, suggests that the mind of you (or someone around you) may be disturbed somewhat, and this creates a rather odd pairing on the surface, but elementally they harmonize (earth feeds the fire while air keeps it respirating). so, this fire receives fuel and lots of air causing to to build and build, until it burns itself out, leaving only air left. this is the king of swords, which is the airy aspect of air. there was not enough earth (wood, in this analogy) to sustain the reaction so eventually it fizzled.
<to put this back in human terms you thought about it too much and your passion burnt out because you didn't feed it enough so now it is as embers. i assume this is what the "death" card is symbolizing. so, recontextualizing the first two cards in the original spread, i would say now that you attempted to nurture your star until you could not anymore, this ending was brought about by the ideas being defeated ("defeat" is the title of the five of swords) by the suit of air, which is the mind.
<and, as if i didn't have to reach far enough to make any sort of sense of this, we have the final two cards in the spread: the page of cups and the two of cups, which was a clarifier for the five of swords.
<continuing with my chemical analogy, we know that water puts out fire (duh). so, that makes the page of cups interesting because its elements (earth and water) provides fuel for the fire, but also the means of killing it completely.
<this, naturally, is confounding, so I decided to look into the two of cups. this card can be summed up succinctly as "love", which in this context to be a few different things. i was unsure if this card was to come after the five of swords or augment it with its meaning, so i pulled a clarifier for the clarifier. what was returned were two cards, the ace of pentacles and the eight of coins.
<the eight of coins is similar to the three, both falling under the umbrella of "work", but the eight is a solo affair of craftsmanship whereas the three is a joint affair of architecture. this brings us to the ace of pentacles, which depicts the hand of god handing (You) a pentacle, which when added to the eight would turn it to the nine, which is a card of material abundance and harvest.
<it would seem to me, then, that after this defeat and death you will be handed something entirely new to sate you, something of the heart, that will turn your solo work into a bountiful joint affair.
<so, to answer your question, you should not consider societal norms and rather concern yourself with what would fulfill you emotionally rather than materially, as it would seem to me these two things are inexorably linked.
<i will finish this reading with a further explanation of the two of cups. this card does not suggest a woman specifically, rather the concept of a deep connection and partnership between two things. i might suggest you consider it to be the love you have for your christ, and the love he has for you. it is, of course, the christcuck's calling to sustain himself on that love alone, no? perhaps there was someone you forgot to ask.
