Welp, it had to happen at some point. My genius boomer parents got scammed out of some money by some Shartheap Poostink over the internet. Typical, not shocked. Buuut…

They don't even want to try and take the money back via bank call. It's too little for them to care. I don't know if this is true or if it's retarded pride and denial… But if it isn't I actually detest that more. I remember when they would dose that kind of money for me as a kid the whole year. Other kids would have money for shit, I would have years of savings I would cling to… Little did I know at the time, they were making bank and partly blowing it on bullshit. I didn't turn out great, but it's a wonder I'm not a ravenous online scammer myself, now that I think about it. Shit, they even took my confirmation ceremony money, that other family members gifted and bought some bullshit I didn't want, because it would be more visible…
