i just tested it, ballistic gel or whatever youd want to call it works better when the gelatine powder is melted with boiling water, specifically to get the same results as me and also the best option for it so you dont melt whatever youre pouring rhe boiled water and gelatine to is to let it cool for 1-2 minutes. all other results made either the gelatine be in pieces or literally just be water despite being in the fridge for a day. ALSO if this is your first time making ballistic gel, THIS IS A SUMMARY : for ballistic gel you boil water, let it cool for a minute before pouring it into whatever container you choose, mix it with gelatine powder, stir with whatever, i used a spoon, then you put it in the fridge for a day. i'd suggest not checking it when its still refridgerating because then the progress will just get ruined alike all other times i did so. after the day you have ballistic gel, you can then go to the yard with your gun and shoot it
