theoretically how would someone hypothetically pass a smog test while having an engine light on(best i can do is clear the code but itll just pop up again later)(also i cant afford the parts i need to fix the engine light in the first place)

oh yeah the problem is a checksum error on the PCM (2000 dodge grand caravan se 3.3 v6) and i dont have the hundreds of dollars to spare on a new one

im in commiefornia so it doesnt matter how incompetent they are, they have to use an OBDII reader no matter what which automatically fails if theres an engine light even if there isnt even anything wrong with the car

its not bad to have a helping hand thoughbeit. youre in a situation that requires tough choices: either borrow some money and get your car fixed or dont have a car to go to work.
