let me give an example scenario/plotline:
I am a scientist working at a remote radio station or a post in Antarctica. I have 1 or two or more colleagues, some of which are female. I have my occupational obligations or "chores" to perform daily, and for the majority of my day I am working on these tasks while sometimes bumping into my female colleague(s), and over time I grow attracted to them.
This whole dynamic is not exclusive to scientist work, it can work just about anywhere you treat as a business, educationplace, or workplace.
