i agree with inviting the xitter and 'gram immigrants even if they're kinda brappy, they will eventually average out into the rest of the site culture. its when they stay offsite and only use surface level chud memes that the problem of dilution is created

the easiest way to get rid of a gooner problem is to fully ban porn (even softcore porn as "bait")
the whole reason 4cuck has such a massive gooner problem is because they literally have 10+ dedicated porn boards and did fuck all to prevent /b/ from becoming a loli, bbc and revenge porn board after handing it to the feds. those porn-oriented users tend to bleed into the other boards, counter to the "containment board" theory.
if troonellas and indians try posting unironically, ideally the site culture would make them feel unwelcome and they wont have a janny team thats "on their side" unlike on 4cuck

I miss when what 'teens desired most was to see the site grow, succeed, and outdo 4cuck in every regard. 'teens back then were literally always motivated to make OC, raid, and invite new users, because they weren't limited by autistic 4cuck-esque elitism or weird standards of what is/isn't "nusoi" behavior or moralfaggy principles about how everything except doxxing pedos is le bad and le snca.
'teens back in the day recognized that 4cuck's elitist gatekeeping and snobbiness and self-loathing played a massive role in its decline, but nowadays 'teens have fallen into the same patterns of behavior. everyone is le nusoi, everything is le SNCA, and the only jokes we make are "JSID" type shit where we just circlejerk about how awful and unfunny the sharty is. there is no difference between the site's current culture and 4cuck, and that's incredibly depressing.
I think there are 3 issues the site faces simultaneously:
1. 4cuck tier elitist faggot spiral
2. HTSM purity spiral
3. boorucuck degeneracy spiral
all of these things are killing the site slowly from within, and desperately need to be pushed back against for the site to improve.

I'm in favor of banning porn dumps and gooner bait, doebeit there's a big difference between "soytan breast milk general" vs something like 'cado or scat.
a blanket ban on porn is annoying swinny-esque rulecuckery that only brings along problems of its own. literally all that should matter is intent, something like 'cado should be fine but all the goonbait threads that blatantly only exist to coal up the 'log need to go. that's basically how the site was run up until froot/quote, gore was allowed, porn was allowed, NAS was allowed, yet the 'log still remained 90% IAS, because jannies would just delete the shit threads that everyone knew were shit. right now salt (understandably) doesn't trust any of his jannies enough to do this, and thus he's giving them more explicit and general guidelines, which I think is fine for now, but I also think in the long term that'll prove detrimental. having minimal rulecucking and having a level of quality control aren't mutually exclusive, you can allow spam and gore and NAS without also having the 'log get partially wiped with softcore porn every 4 hours.
