It is funny when leftists romanticize slave rebellions of the past, made up of blacks or otherwise, when in reality 95% of slave revolts throughout history were only fought for the personal liberty of the rebels and not for the end of slavery as an institution. Slavery was seen as natural for most of human existence and even more so by a bunch of uncultured slaves who had no political or philosophical education. In fact, it was not unheard of for freed slaves to go own to become slaveowners themselves.
