Why not?

This is true, I learnt more from online courses in 6months than my entire time in college. Maybe that's because I did nothing but play vidya all the time and panic-studied at the end

Sounds like a personal problem not being able to commit time to knock something out as fast as possible, and people these days are instructed to have, and to tolerate having many personal problems.

well those people are not encouraged to have problems as of course that will hinder their ability to learn. But at its main system, subjects within the curriculum are meant to be repeated for a long time to let the students have a grasp and memorize them. they are there out of their own will y'know, bekuz of that they would often not follow the subjects due to their lack of interest

>"subjects within the curriculum are meant to be repeated for a long time to let the students have a grasp and memorize them"
Ah, here we have something that exposes an issue, a learning curriculum so dry of reasoning and sharing of reasoning, that it has to be stuck on repeat until mastered.
>"bekuz of that they would often not follow the subjects due to their lack of interest"
And this part speaks of people having little interest anyway. True, but it is the adults that have failed to inspire the youngsters at the time they really needed it.

Well there needs to be an incentive as to why they'd want to get educated as most of them only would follow a subject if it suits their interest, this would sweep out most subjects. The school here established these subjects anyway as they would need to be taught anyway and thus the system of instilling them to students that do not seek them would be by repetition

Redo subjects to more constructive tech classes and history, math and science and english to the side.

Well those are fundamental subjects in mi opinion. I like the way technical school works where they teaches the subject students specifically chose but also supplement them with other materials in order to keep them more knowledgeable for the world. I think teachers would need to link these accompanying subjects to the main one, such as linking history with mathematics but leaving parts of it unattested to arouse some curiosity regarding more information.

Nigger what are you talking about

 â„–3821342[Quote]

>>3821316
Yeah I like having the freedom to study a subject that I want, but I want to choose what projects I want to do within those subjects. Sadly most courses do 1 generic project and don't let you choose 1 from 10 possibilities yourself.

There are several reasons why technical schools don't have their reach expanded to include elementary or middle school level institutions, mainly bekuz regular schools preparing them for college are more popular and they are deemed too young to have their own decisions be set in. For that i suppose the method of teaching and the quality of the teachers would need to be reconsidered if the current field of education is to be kept.
