However, 4chan being a majority right-wing site, does have fair amount of left-wing users on their boards. 4chan has less censorship and more freedom of speech, explaining how right-wing users naturally flock to 4chan rather than a more strict in policies site like reddit. But why with the opposite? Why do more left-wing users tend to post on reddit? What about it brings them in?

I actually know the reason.
The 2016 election. Hillary shilled the site massively with bots and basically caused all the right winged users to go to 4chanz, which also caused the (4chan) /pol/ boom of 2016

The upvoter downvote system encourages groupthink as opinions considered "popular" get seen more frequently and those not popular will get hidden and often banned. This is in contrast to our system which is indiscriminatory, and allows a wider range of thought, which captures the right and left in general
