He hated Islam and embraced secularism in the country. In WW1 he blended a bunch of Turkish soldiers in a meat grinder in the Frontline. He was a (((freemason))) for some time. And you won't even guess how he died.
Yet the Turkish people commemorate this guy as if he was so revolutionary. It seems that his work and influence was so much that even Hitler saw him as "honorary".
