linux people all wanna make the most minimal distro with immutable blazingly fast reproducable package manager and suckless window manager. That won't happen. The community is pointlessly fragmented. Their UI, their design choices copy that of Mac and Windows. And it's all just a copy of Unix. It's good for servers, no doubt, it's compact and gets the job done. But windows will always be more applicable to User's desktop.

Every linux distro is the same, has the same goals, same packets, same conflicts, same forks. Yet, ironically. Linux lacks continuity. I like continuity.

Theoretically one can modify a windows Vista to run UEFI class 3. I love tinkering with stuff like this.

also 2face could you elaborate on win10 and older security as of now? can I safely use the older windows iterations and not be hacked or something if i keep up the regular hygiene i.e. not download weird shit etc.? I'm asking because I'd like not to install win11 because it seems to be an unituitive piece of shit written by jeets (I use it at work), and you seem knowledgeable.
