im glad you're thinking about things, you can find examples of people online already doing that, but it is a massive fire hazard and if you incorrectly weld anything and create a pressurized system that becomes a bomb…
with self made pyrolysis machines, people often pyrolize shredded plastic, but you got to also consider fume toxicity and some plastics have even more dangerous fumes they give off when they are heated…

I will say YOU CAN safely make gasoline. You just need some pressure gauges, automatic pressure release valves, temp sensors, a couple condensers and a good couple hours of yt videos watched .
Its actually a super fun project. And with all the excess plastic we end
up having from everything, you can make a good bit of each fuel and oil types.
