As a fellow Anton enjoyer, you should be able to recognize the politicization and business interest in the idea that the earth is heating up.
Do climate scientists consider the sun? The solar systems energies? Or even galactic scale phenomenon? No, they don't.
BUTT the threat of ai heating up the earth is far less of a problem than some mad man who uses it to help them make a bioweapon or a dirty bomb.
The thing is, the cats already out of the bag.
Pandoras box has been opened.
No one can save us now.

>>3774918I've know a ton about that and will never take the leftoid or liberal greta thunberg position, but I do see a huge spike in energy consumptiona nd ai training/crypto mining and how although we are getting more efficient, we use even more power nonetheless too.
This is just another angle to see the greater problem from and one that should be explored, not just physical manipulation of the environment in the form of geo engineering, but the use of electrical energy itself for computation as heat generation that affects the environment

Consider the timing of when all the models got released initially.
Consider global conflicts.
Consider
covid.
Consider how rapid development is.
Most of what we even get to see is within the fog of war.
