But it's not the end all be all. Culture is also shaped by having manners, being kind, being charitable, showing respect for public services and making sure that they are clean and better off than we you used them, and most importantly wanting to improve the world and your current circumstances. I'm not saying that being bummed out over not feeling united and belonging in your own country due to only seeing people of a different skin color is irrational, I'm saying that you wouldn't be nearly as bummed out if those people of a different race were also just as respectful as your own, because most likely they are not.
