I have a quick reply because me will sleep in a few moments
All things inscribed through God did indeed happen but sometimes not literally. For example I think the 12 tribes of Israel are not related but rather have different men bulking themselves into the societies through allegiances towards the elders such as Benjamin, Josef, et cetera. And the other being that some passages are often portrayals in dramatical arrangements or hyperbolas as is the norm for preaching in those times. I am a Muslim myself but my faith descended from Christianity as did Christianity with Judaism doebeit belief also theorizes that some of the old scriptures might have been corrupted so then the ones overlapping with reality and my faith is an authentic gospel God had realized

Gemmy question.
TLDR: Old Testament has a lotta methaphors and hyperbole, New Testament is true and Based and Christpilled.
Of course i belive the events of the Gospels did happen, they were written by trustworthy sources who lived with Christ. In the Old Testament there are way more outlandish stories, but a lot of those are hyperbole or metaphors for what happened to mankind. Like the origin story in Genesis, there are a lot of Christians who belive that it's not literal, it represents how humanity chose to sin against God, and how that plunged humanity into evil and chaos. Another example is God ordering the Israelites to genocide the Caananites, but later on we read that they were just driven out of the land.

If you're a Christian then you're expected to believe that everything that is written in the bible actually happened when in actuality the bible is not a history book but a collection of myths and schizo ramblings written by some of the biggest low-brow scumbags imaginable, desert-dwelling jews

It's obvious that some stories are metaphors

I genuinely think they all really happened, but just like prophecy has to be sort of figured out after the prophecy actually gets fulfilled, so too are the understandings of these stories.
