they would have left and the chance a warrent for his arrest was probably there but he sealed his fate when he started to speak. he can only take a plea deal at this point and probably (just a guess) will get 3 years or 28-30 months in prison. and its going to cost him a fuckload of legal costs meaning his parents can lose their home if they chose to pay for it.
