i like crows and cranes the most, albeit i find herons and vultures to be very keyed too

The vulture burial tradition came from tibetan buddhism so its not totally native mongolian

thats cool, i never heard of that. seems like it would fit with buddhism, the emphasis on the cyclical nature of life and your body serving nature once it passes just as nature served your body while you were alive and shiet
