The US
1) Has tried to negotiate for decades
2) Even allowed them to have a limited nuclear program for years
3) Led with sanctions, and only moved to bombing as a last resort
4) Only bombed the leadership, and military equipment at the beginning of the conflict
5) Allowed Iran to conduct trade, even as they entirely cut off other gulf states' commerse

Why do we pretend these nations are comparable again?
