Morals-wise we're not all too different from Christians. We're against stealing, unnecessary killings, lying without just reason, etc. We just put a bigger emphasis on loyalty and keeping your word on things you swear on, particularly through Oaths.

Same with even muslims. Islam is seen as this ultra-traditionalist faith, when in reality even they are mostly made up people who do whatever the muslim equivalent of a sin is. Most Muslim women don't wear their tablecloths over their faces, most Muslim men still jerk off whenever they feel like it, and yet they all still claim to be the "most reverent" and "most faithful"
If you're truly faithful then your concern should be to not only distance yourself from these bad actors, but alienate them from yourself. Always be skeptical of a "fellow believer" until they've proven their worth and their loyalty, doesn't have to be anything drastic/over the top, but just proof they truly believe. Until then their faith is trivial.
