If you live in San Francisco or LA then yes. if you live in Stockton, Sacramento (or parts) or Fresno it's all gang territory (beaners mostly), if you live in the mountains or outer Metro counties its actually much nicer than any other state in the Union. you can live in the mountains and it's like living in Colorado or Alaska etc. snowy and cold as shit in the winter and hot summers were days are like 2 hours shorter because of the steep mountains and tall pine trees.
