If intelligence is mostly genetic then why is it that in my childhood i was considered gifted and superior but as of 18 years old i have terribly declined in cognitive function and suffer from what i can only call proto-alzheimers? Do jews really?

Intelligence-impariment comorbidities can also be genetic, likr alzheimers, maybe you have autism. Also genes don't play as much of a role as a kid due to you being largely under your parent's environment and later in life you start creating your own environment, heritability becomes larger for beh traits like intelligence toward young adulthood

Maybe ADHD, could be nutritional issues, sedentary lifestyle or other health issues, also honestly it's not that hard to be "gifted" when you're young if your parents push you because schools don't push students that much in the early years of school.

Your definition of "cognitive function" and intelligence aren't the same thing. Chances are you either have an undiagnosed psychiatric and or immune condition, or you've fucked your health up to the point where it's showing. Most of the "burnt out gifted kid" drivel is people not realizing they got the shit end of the health genetics stick, and continuing to think that high IQ was supposed to make you mentally impenetrable. Go out in the open sun, especially sunrise and before sunset (so you get the most NIR light) and expose as much of your skin as possible to it without spf. Do that for half an hour for a week and see what that does alone.
