The thinner, well fit style was more common as far as I'm aware but the baggier Rus style was also used. I originaly planned to create a versitile base pair that could span from 850 -1100 with minimal adjustments but I think I would prefere a baggier rus style trousers.

I would like /pol/'s opinion on this.

It does not look accurate in the slightest, far too large and not historical to viking dress, most dressed closer to this. You need to remember scandinavia was cold.

The one in picrel is from the rus it is very exagerated but it would be a similar pattern. It is based off of the finds in Hedeby in germany. I do really like the man in that picrel but I don't think I'm good enough at sewing to make well fitted trousers.
