How do i start learning history?
I only have a basic understanding of most of history and I'm interested in expanding my knowledge but I'm not really sure what resources I should use. Where should I begin? What are some good books? Are there any good youtube channels?

The sources of your journey should be familiarization with a great many battles and the parties involved. Watch this entire channel, and write down in a notebook, names, years, and events. That's the start, listening and writing basic notes. Make it a good history journal.

basically starting with military history
history is generally divided into infinite subtopics like
<history of culture
<history of the west
<history of engineering/technology
<history of African Americans
<history of the Holocaust
and so on. but starting with military history is definitely a good choice
