In the third season Billy teams up with a guy named Soldier Boy so they could kill Homelander together, then Billy finds out that his wife is actually alive and she's raising Homelander's rape bastard. Soldier Boy proposes using Homelander's son as bait and then killing both of them. Billy literally says "oi! don't touch me wife's son!", they have an argument and Billy defeats Soldier Boy to protect the bastard.
