I have to make a project related to the culture, history or politics of Europe for a course I have at university. I'm in a technical field, so I have no idea why we have history, but I do enjoy the lectures, our professor is interesting.
However, I don't agree with him on modern day politics (he's pretty pro EU because he says the only other alternative is Russia (<-falsenvke)). Another claim of his is that we are NOT being forced to eat ze bugs and turned gay (ev&oe there are literally campaigns to do it). I do respect him despite this, he's the best teacher of the subject I've had + while my country was still under communism, he said how bullshit commies are in a lecture and got away.
My presentation will have to be dumbed down to normie level sadly. I'll be presenting 3 ways to think about Europe and the EU: the super progressive leftoid one, a middle ground that says EU is only good for trade and not social programs and regulations, and finally an exaggerated point of view that normies would call "pro ruzzia". I'll try to explain why super EU groups are just as bad as Russia (or at least what the media says about it).
To say all of this, I'm looking for neutral-ish sources (ones that don't come up as "far right" when you google them) about this info:
1) How the WEF/EU/etc wants us to eat bugs, own nothing, be happy
2) Why European conservative parties "flirt" so often with Russia

How would I address any "Russian funding" arguments brought up against right wing parties? They always have some wholesome peer reviewed source that says any opposition is funded by Russia.

well factually speaking ,a lot of them do have russian funding ,otherwise they wouldnt survive. This is what you should point out in my opinion. Explain that by ostracizing these parties they are forcing them to seek support from russia or face destruction. Also you can point out that ,Russia isnt the only one doing this, the EU funds liberal parties in eastern europe so they are hypocrites in that regard. As for the WEF stuff ,there was an article that youll find where they say youll live in the pod ,search for it.
