What distinguishes endearing folksiness from vulgar slopulism?

What's your take on this? I would consider authenticity and introspectiveness (as opposed to an uncritical disposition) to be chief differentiators.

I honestly have to think on it, but I think the authenticity of your participation in your local community is important

if you don't think we should use genetic engineering to transform all whites into hot furry werewolves the maul niggers and eat their entrails, then that means you're containment

I think I'll have to lock this in as my final answer. If your idea of supporting your "folk" is being paid by George Soros to burn down a Denny's in Minneapolis, then you are a slopulist. But if you do genuinely participate in the community, say by going to Church, volunteering at a soup kitchen, etc., then not so much.

This topic makes me think about country music. The difference between the music of someone like Johnny Cash and someone like Toby Keith is stark to say the least.

To me it would be intent. Those who intend on cracking a joke don't infuse status buffers into said joke

nophono cares fan about this

The associations with the behavior
Some are interpreted as friendly and others are interpreted as aggressive

Rampant consumerism, or something along those lines.
