She's too introverted for me. A little bit of shyness is cute, but Rei is pretty antisocial. If I met a girl like her IRL, I'd probably never view her as compatible. Rei hardly ever expresses emotion or strong attachment, so I'd probably end up assuming she just wanted to be left alone. The only reason shinji and Rei end up bonding at all is because they're forced to work together all the time. Perhaps I'm that case I'd get a better understanding of her personality and eventually become attracted to her. I should so say that I'm not a fan of short blue hair and red eyes, I just find it odd, even on anime.
