Iran won't last long

From what I've heard they're gonna do an amphibious assault in the next two weeks with the goal of taking the south near the straight so they can't launch drones to harass the straight.

Trump always chickens out though

>>3106270Mines aren't an issue if the US can get its own navy in the straight to minesweep or guide ships.

>>3106272The straight is opening one way or another soon. It would be cucked if he just declares we won and nothing ever happens.
â„–3106288[Quote]
Also why do we have these lazy ass allies? "Nah we won't risk shit reopening the straight we know you and Isreal will do it for us lol" just sell out Yurope to Russia ATP.
â„–3106304[Quote]
Reopening the strait is impossible as long as there are drones, mines, missiles, etc that can potentially blow up ships passing through. I don't see ships traversing until the conflict is completely resolved or Iran somehow runs out of munitions.

I wonder how somalia is responding to the strait closing. HAven't seen any news of them
â„–3106312[Quote]
>>3106288We can't compel these lazy fucks to do anything alongside us. The only remedy is to create some kind of special benefit so that we're able to profit from the war. Everybody benefits from the straits being open, but if we're going to be the ones to bear the cost, we should at least be rewarded well for it.

>>3106304Iran can't really do anything if they lose the south coast. Right behind those coasts are mountains which you can't launch drones from there.

>>3106315marge
I bet the pirates are pissed
â„–3106320[Quote]
>>3106314>you can't launch drones from mountains because… you just can't okay? Also, it would be extremely difficult for the US to capture the entire "south coast". That itself would be quite the effort and would likely require far more soldiers than they're currently sending to the area.
â„–3106325[Quote]
>>3106320That would probably require boots on the ground if they don't want ro get trapped there and get raped.
I thought blumpf would've actually deployed ground invasion by now or declared victory but we'll see sincw Iran is denying there are negotiations
â„–3106328[Quote]
>>3106316The pirates weren't doing anything. Somali pirates were a thing of the 2010's o algo. At the peak in 2011 I see there were ~212 somali pirate incidents whereas in 2024 that number was just seven. Not totally eliminated I suppose, but certainly massively reduced.
