Fukuyama predicted that we were in the end of history and people looked at it and laughed it off as some inane ramblings from a boomer liberal.

But are we? NOTHING. EVER. HAPPENS. It seems the world has become so shizophrenic. We have no clue what's really happening, why it's happening and for what reason. Probably our leaders don't to. Everyone's stressed about a new catastrophe, everyone's barking and barking, world leaders fire off missiles and threaten eachother, but no meaningful change happens. Look at warfare. Russia and now America are fighting countries much weaker than them and they are forced to a stalemate. Countries protest and shout, people riot but never revolt. It's as if the world is frozen.

We're all convinced we're living in the end of the world. That one day it'll become so fucking crazy that the machine will just implode on itself. It's human nature, right? So when does it actually start? We are all waiting for something that will never happen. I am really scared of the idea that maybe humanity isn't actually destroying itself, it will get worse and worse and we can only suffer, never freeing ourselves from the machine but melting into it forever. The future will be more of the same.
