Moderates will say that muhammed was a bad person, but the quran says he's the most perfect person
Others mixed between moderates and extremists will say it was normal back then, but that's not even true
While child marriages were MORE common, they were not really an average thing, especially to muhammed instance of marrying a 6yr in his mid 50's
Sure, there was some child marriages, but they were reserved to kings and rulers and whatnot.
That is to say something like a 12yr marrying a 16yr was a thing, but that is much more better then a 50yr and a 6yr, which almost never happened

Regardless, Muhammed was considered the most perfect person for all of time by the quran, and the quran and hadith throughout mentions muhammed ruling in the favor of child marriages
