Most early corded skulls were of two types, robust leptodolichoid muscular leptosome types ("nordoid") and broad faced, more ruggedly built dolichoid types ("faeloid/"cromagnoid"). This was the case as far east as Xinjiang in China, pic rel, "proto european" (cromagnoid), pamirid and slightly gracilized corded type.
