It is for the trash though, for murderers and rapists. And their fruits are eternal regrets, for having ZERO willingness to repent for their murder and rapes.

Good Christians don't mind being farmers, they don't mind farmers markets. But can murderers and rapists be good farmers?

â„–2960171[Quote]
>>2960168therefore the works of the heart have great weight, for saints, good works, for murderers and rapists, evil works, and let them be judged by their works, not the words their minds come up with to excuse it.

and a curious mind reads more and asks more of it's heart and if there is a good god.
and a good heart gets its answers.
even if it is a wrong religion
or a wrong church
knowing there is better matters.

in secondary school, my religious studies teacher, Mr Dickinson, lovely man btw, said that in primary school, his headmaster was pretty devout, ending every assembly with a piece of scripture. one thing that particularly stuck with him wasn't scripture, it was his headmaster's description of hell. his headmaster said that hell isn't necessarily full of red burning fire as depicted in typical fashion, but it could rather be 'be a different experience of heaven.' the metaphor he gave was to imagine heaven as people at an endless feast, but the problem is that the spoons are far too long. the solution is that some people would feed the person on the opposite side using the spoon, and vice versa. for those who are self centred or undeserving, obviously they would have an unpleasant experience, what with having a great feast in front of them and being unable to eat. ultimately I think heaven and hell are beyond human understanding, and being fixated on them is rather counterproductive compared to being humble and doing your best to follow God every day
<sorry for the horrible prose and rambling

this is where you show, you are capable of perpetual improvement, in a fog of war, a drunken state of not remembering what was before this. And of what is after, for there in uncertainty for you, until final judgement.

It's easy to see that the idea of hell is man-made. The version we're familiar with exists mainly in Christianity and Islam, while in Judaism it's quite different. I'd be more interested in exploring concepts like karma and reincarnation, since they're harder to disprove. There might even be correlations and anecdotal evidence worth exploring imo
