There is barely any extrabiblical sources that attest to the New Testament, aside from Pontius Pilates' existence (who has some stone), and most of all, scarcely any to Jesus. He is only vaguely mentioned in Tacitus' Annals and there is a camp of historians who think that was edited and interpolated by Christians. Other than that there is nothing indicating Jesus ever existed aside from the Bible. We have way more corroborating archaeological evidence for the Romans though and whatever was said about them from history (hence Pontius). There is nothing.. else.. for the Christ.

It's over, atheists won, and why wouldn't they triumph over Jewish fables? Until you can back it some more there's nothing we can do here.

It doesn't matter if Jesus existed or not

 β„–2959771[Quote]

>>2959768
Yes it does and why would you say that?

 β„–2959787[Quote]

Every single fucking historian agrees Jesus existed
>But, that's a authority falla- aAAAAAAAACK!-
not when EVERYONE agrees with it
>But saying that if everyone agrees with someone doesn't mean it's tru- AAAAAAAAACK!-
It does some times, we are talking about the existence of a person not something crazy

No, not every historian agrees the person existed, they can't even narrow down his existence with any archaeological evidence.

Jesus mainly spread his beliefs though sermons and words and then his apostles taught other people his words it took years before any of his teachings were actually written down.

 β„–2959824[Quote]

You can just fucking read what he wrote. Also there is like 10 other sources. All of Which are 10x more verifiable than all other historical claims.

I'm mainly gnostic in belief but not everything can be proven by archi logical evidence some things are just lost to time.

You admit that not everything can be proven yet you call yourself a gnostic?

 β„–2959927[Quote]

People from history could have never existed and people today would be none the wiser. Take Plato, for example.

 β„–2959978[Quote]

>>2959920
I'm just saying it happend a long time ago and we're not sure of what happened or not there are many people through out history who never wrote down their teachings and the word spread for centuries until things were finally scribed or Put on paper.

The Bible is a collection of mostly fables that mean next to nothing if you aren't Jewish. It's time to get away from the brainwashing.

gnosis means knowledge
if you admit that knowledge is unavailable, then you're agnostic. a-gnosis

The fact that Christians altered Josephus' work to insert a mythical Jesus as opposed to the real Jesus he wrote down tells you everything you need to know
