So, it's 1998, and the first gaming exhibition, "Igromir 1998," is taking place. Andrey Nifedov (not yet a famous video blogger, just a student) had been meticulously preparing for this momentous event. He'd been working on his dream game, "Digger," for several years. He wasn't working on it alone, of course, but with his close friend Mikhail Kuraptinsky (later known as Markus Persson or Notch). On December 7, 1998, the game was already in alpha, and Andrey had already decided to present it at the exhibition. The exhibition was still in test mode, so there were no crowds of onlookers or anything like that; it was just the developers. Andrey stood near his booth with his game, and many people (including the author) approached him and played it. It was excellent! Nifedov, realizing his success, called Mikhail Kuraptinsky and told him he was terminating his contract with him, since he'd done most of the game himself. Mikhail was desperate to lose money! What could be worse? So he came up with a brilliant plan: he bought pepper spray, donned a soldier's Chanel coat, covered his face with a scarf, and put a hat on his head. He slipped into the crowd unnoticed and, spraying Andrei in the eyes with pepper spray, stole the digger's version!
