The "assisted suicides" in Canada started as a last resort for people who had untreatable terminal illnesses and were going to die soon. Then it was expanded to include people who had terminal illnesses but still had lots of time. Then they started including people who have disabilities that "severely impact their quality of life". Then they started including ALL disabilities. Now they're at the stage where you can as a doctor to kill you if you're depressed or have a mental illness. The same thing is going to happen in the Netherlands, soon they'll include "the mother not wanting a child" as a reason to allow her to murder her newborn baby because an unwilling mother will obviously provide not enough care for her child which will in obviously negatively impact the child's quality of life.
