You take a look at the cabinet it's just a whos who of incompetent sychophants like Hegseth, several of them being former podcasters instead of anyone qualified. Marco Rubio is one of the BETTER cabinet picks and he's a neocon, we don't even want him but the bar is so low we need to give props for people who are at least qualified for their positions. In fact, the current Border Czar IS one of the competent people and he's actually an Obama era figure, he received a presidential award for his success at deportations and he deported FAR more people under Obama. The Trump admin is so bad you can't even do a good job if you ARE good at your job.
Greenland is just a symptom. Trump won't use soft power to get Greenland's oil and instead threatens invasion, the kind of thing that makes China and Russia places that no one wants to play with. Russia has no allies BECAUSE they only use hard power. The American Empire's strength was that they were comparatively speaking friendly and reasonable. This administration has broken every single promise and has done absolutely nothing for the American people and I haven't even talked about how ZOGGED he is and the nightmare that is the Big Beautiful Bill.

He hasn't prevented growth that much (birth rates and there's still some illegal migration from Mexico).
