Modernism killed art, and postmodernism defecated on its corpse.
Before the 20th century people would marvel at art because of how beautiful it was and how much mastery and effort it took to produce it. There is no art in the modern world, it's just marketing and money laundering. You can create a painting indistinguishable from works of legends of old like Michelangelo or Caravaggio and nobody will give a single shit, you'll get like 250 likes on xitter and that's it. But if you're a big name in the "art world", you can throw a bucket of paint at a canvas and get praise from drooling retards who think they're smart and know things because they get their opinions from someone else.
