Yes but The Trial has the managerial state as it's focus rather than his other works.

Well I personally don't feel this way, but I more so wanted to communicate that it emphasizes the level of which we are buried in debts and escaping these evil ideologies. I actually consider myself very hopeful and optimistic for our future, but I was feeling heavy when I first realized and finished the book. I should of said that the weight of the situation will hit you, but your reaction will depend. Mine was bleak hopelessness followed by an extreme willingness and hope.

What did you think of it?

You guys seem to be discussing very interesting things on this thread anything to read about more of this stuff?

I feel I am educated in history enough to say with confidence that much of the book is embellished, but I still feel like its worth reading. I mean, I've listened to it three times myself. It should definitely be treated as an introduction to the topic though, trying to cover 2000 years in one book undoubtedly results in some lack of focus.

Unfortunately idiots can form a cabal. A natural cabal, the oldest one: the goycattle herd of conformist normie-sadists.

I think it'd astonishingly accurate when describing the later time periods, but I agree that the introduction of the book is the worst part of it. It's narrative can be questioned at times and it does embellish a lot on things that may not even need to be brought up to secure the point, like the racial demographics of Rome.

dis true mayne dat crakka officer is yt trash mayne

 β„–2679771[Quote]

>>2679754
Yeah when I say it is embellished I'm mostly talking about the earlier stuff, but the modern history part is pretty indisputable, its basically just putting commonly known and publicly available facts together
>it does embellish a lot on things that may not even need to be brought up to secure the point, like the racial demographics of Rome
trying to haphazardly project modern phenomena onto the past, especially as far back as Antiquity, just because history heckin repeats itself o algo is super dishonest and weird.

I'm gonna add my two cents to this. I don't think this'll go peacefully. There is no political or peaceful solution to this issue, sure the future is bright but it'll definitely be very violent. Why am I sure of this? Think about zoomers, the youth.

They've been abandoned and forsaken in exchange for money and short term control/power. They feel lonely, abandoned, and meaningless. They'll turn to more radical ideologies, I hope they become chuds but nophono can garuntee, I don't know if a revolution will happen, or if it will even succeed. But it's better to try than to do nothing.

 β„–2679779[Quote]

>>2679772
when the "revolution" happens it will be violent but it will still be fake and gay, think of the recent ice shooting but like ten times

 β„–2679785[Quote]

>>2679771
I think this is also a large part of why chudtubers' synopses of the book are often far better introductory material than the actual book. The introduction can be a slog to get through, especially when the people you will want to convince to read it are often going to be the skeptical types.

 β„–2679787[Quote]

>>2679779
Yeah that's why I added the last part, I think of myself as a "realistic/cynical optimist". I hope for the best but I assume the worst.

 β„–2679791[Quote]

>>2679779
even if a revolution doesn't happen, I hope a nuclear war does so I can spend the few days I live truly free before dying of radiation

Violence is… le good. At least an alternation of peace and violence like the seasons. Excessive peace has destroyed what is human im us. Does that mean the violence will be fun or pleasant or moral? No

 β„–2679817[Quote]

Even if a nuclear war happens ZOG has their bunkers and other underground places.

You don't think they planned for the event of a nuclear war? The IRS has a plan to reinstate taxation if a apocalypse ever happens, do you think those bunkers are just for people?

 β„–2679848[Quote]

>>2679838
Most people wouldn't survive the aftermath of a nuclear war, it'd take some time for them to regain power even if they got the best of men working for them and they'll just rule over a few people.

Actually I think this is something of a cold-war misconception. Even at the height of our armaments, nuclear war would be far less destructive than what's usually depicted in popular media; fallout is far less than nuclear accidents like chernobyl, and that place cleared up relatively quickly. It's a verdant forest now.

Nuclear winter is fake as well, and was popularized by Carl Sagan (a prominent globohomo pinko hippie, although he was certainly more erudite and interesting than his successor, black science man). The global arsenal would have to be orders of magnitude bigger to "kill most people on Earth" let alone destroy life as we know it.

 β„–2679861[Quote]

>>2679860
I remember there was a study that showed 90% of the United States population wouldn't survive past 80 or 90 days due to people obviously relying heavily on society and wouldn't have the proper resources to support themselves

 β„–2679865[Quote]

>>2679861
Maybe, but keep in mind that their dataset is basically zero or negative (Japan had two major cities nuked and recovered quickly, but it did of course totally collapse the old order). Also the people doing the studies are obviously extremely biased and are consciously (""ethically"") trying to produce an output that will dissuade people from nuclear war.

 β„–2679869[Quote]

It's a bit weird to see fiction describing 80,000 years of radiation and fallout but Hiroshima and Nagasaki were basically normal, thriving modern paradises a few decades after being leveled by nukes. I get that H-bombs are different, but in fact H-bombs have less fallout per kiloton. They are much better at pure thermal power instead of spreading isotopes around
