Keep in mind that they may be overrepresented if they're basing it off people simply identifying as white. I don't know about Cuba, but the American census also counts MENA as white. I do see quite a few white Cubans doe. A lot of them immigrated directly from Spain and married another Cuban family that descended directly from Spain.
