I have a related theory:
You know how most furries are White AND autistic? This must be some kind of a genetic predisposition. I mean think about it, if autism were a completely useless thing it would've been weeded out of the gene pool, right? But instead, White tribes were more prosperous if they had a couple of spergs who would dress as animals and have weird visions and unique perception of the world. Some tribes would turn them into shamans, while others would make berserkers out of them. Imagine a crazy, jacked sperg who think he has a wolf's spirit inside of him and can kill people without any remorse or second thought because he's autistic.
