the irony is that if it werent for the way women (real ones) are socialized they never would have been taken seriously. women have the tendency to handle social issues less from a "whats the problem and how do i solve it" perspective and more from a "how can i hurt the least amount of feelings" one. They see it as making a person really happy in the short term, even if theyre unaware of the effects itll have in shortening their lifespans in the longterm.
