Us average 100iq people with average skills and education born in an average household literally have no place in the modern world. To get to the economic level a blue collar worker had in the 80s you need to have a STEM college education minimum. With the rise of automation even college graduates are going to be replaced.
Just like how thousands if not hundreds of thousands of hand-loom weavers were left to starve in the steets or at the mercy of their families after the rise of power looms in the 19th century, the same will happen with modern-day automation and office jobs.
Of course, innovation and automation are not inherently bad. However, in order to prevent large swathes of society going extinct, the benefit obtained from the machines has to be distributed to all people, and not just those at the top.
In conclusion, we live in an economy in which it's basically impossible to house, clothe and feed a family through uneducated work and, soon, this will extend to the majority of qualified types of work too.

The way I understand the world is there are two classes: The investor class and the worker class. If you have enough money to live off of investments alone, you're part of the investor class. For them this whole benefits of automation thing is working fine. If you're not part of the investor class, you're basically a subhuman and the system doesn't thing about preserving your life. Theoretically, if you live in a real country that takes care of their people, you could see such a country using its weight to give you the investor benefits. For example, a country like Norway that has trillions of dollars in their investor account can hook you up with enough gibs to live like a human.
