Not really, if you want to have the next generation be taller on average for example, you can do positive eugenics and encourage taller people to breed more and/or shorter people breed with like a standard deviation in height taller people. Same for other traits, depending on their heritability (height has a ~.85 broad sense heritability(H2) and like ~.55 narrow sense heritability(h2) from what we know currently)for breeders equation so it would be probably the easiest trait to select for, part from eye color or something
