There is a joy of a parent who is mature, to teach a young child new things.
But… It is not comradrie. However there can be joy in having interesting conversations with random people of various age groups. You can "socialize" which is a weird whistle call for being happy or unhappy, depending on how it is used. But the simple fact remains, those who excel will have little in comraderie.
