Ill put it in a good example, imagine the basic problem of cleanliness, there will always be more trash, more dust, more shit and junk to clean. No matter how much you try, there will always be waste. The optimist thinks you have to keep cleaning despite the meaninglessness because it makes life better, the nihilist thinks, ughh trash is never ending so might as well drown in filth and trash.
