What do you think Ukraine will look like after this war even in a best case circumstance? Half the population lives abroad and the women have families with men from other countries and living arrangements so I doubt that they'll return, leaving a huge male surplus.

to be fair novorossiya has had this problem too but its just going to have such a bad economic downturn, normally projects like road are headed by local governments but the federal russian government has had to step in so that roads are built and people have power and water. before russian government intervention it was no better living in mariupol than living in a frontline town.

ukraine and novorossiya would have been basically destroyed, ruined to ashes. but depending on how peace is brought, ukraine could have flooded us & eu aid to rebuild whilst russian territories would have russian funds

Russia has a demographic issue too that's why they've been importing a million+ foreigners every year and 1.5 million Ukrainians fled when the invasion began to Russia. I don't see how the Ukraine will survive without some kind of nato military state because half its population is gone, it's going to take another generation to even get started to rebuild the nation.

it's because of how huge they are, it's been a historical issues, they don't really have the funding still to improve the rural areas although electricity and gas are available to literal villages.
it's why i see indians in russian military serving or were forced to serve, they should be forced to menial labor only and should never be considered as real citizens, in fact H1B visas should only be menial labor in usa too.
