>>2533999I do not know all the specifics of the Lord's Prayer, but I would say any version that states or implies the existence of some kind of pagan Holy Trinity, is haram. If it does not do that, then I think it is fine for a Muslim to recite the prayer.
The Jesus Prayer is 100% haram, as it states that Isa is Allah, which is against Islam.
If a Muslim decides to pray in a Christian church, they should be extremely weary, as paganism is deeply entrenched in the Christian religion. I would say it is still best for a Muslim to avoid all Christian practices unless he is sure he knows what he is doing.

>>2534101The Kaaba serves as a central point for Muslims worldwide to face during prayer, to create a sense of unity. I know whenever I face the Kabba during prayer, that there is another Muslim just like me doing the same. It is not about worshiping the structure in itself. We used to pray towards Jerusalem, before the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, changed the tradition since Jerusalem had abandoned Islam long ago.

№2534204[Quote]
